The masons are on a month vacation, so we're mostly at a standstill. In the meantime we've been building the upstairs patio shade. It will eventually be covered with what are called tallos to provide the shade. That will be completed after the house has been painted.
Each of the 4x6 and 8x8 beams are pinned with 1/2" steel and epoxied into slots cut into the masonry. This thing has to withstand 100+ mph winds when the next hurricane strikes someday.
