Lito and Gecko, Immigrants to the U.S.. When returning home through Tecate, the agriculture guy made us go back into Mexico and exit through Otay Mesa. After getting lost and waiting in a 2 hour border line, the Otay Mesa guard let us though without any questions about the cats. We later discovered there are not restrictions to bringing Cats or Dogs across the border other than recent vaccinations. It would have been nice if the Tecate border guy knew the rules.

Unexpected Additions
We had a storage shed that didn't close up very well. When we entered, we scared a feral mother cat away from her litter. She never returned. At first we thought we'd let nature take it's course, but that didn't last long. We raised them from droppers until they could eat solid food. We found a home for one and took two back to California.
