We were going to buy the paint in the U.S., in California. When we got up there, all the contractors we know said the paint quality had deteriorated since the new EPA guidelines came out. We knew of a Sherwin Williams paint store about 3 1/2 hours from our house, in Mexico. We called the company and a nice guy checked the formulas and told us to buy it in Mexico as it is the original formula before the EPA stuff. So...back to Mexico to buy the paint. On the way home we stopped and picked up some samples. Painting will begin in ernest in a couple weeks.

Tomorrow the kitchen, closet, and bathroom cabinets arrive. We had a carpenter in Loreto make them. We haven't seen them yet, except in pictures. I sure hope they're nice!
